Logging Advanced > Group Policies >

The category "Logging" can be found under "Policies\Administrative Templates\code4ward\Royal TS\" in the Group Policy Management Editor. The following policy settings are available:

 

Windows Event Log: Enable Logging

This setting requires Royal TS V 2.2.0 or later.

This policy setting allows you to manage if a user is able to configure Windows Event log Logging in the Royal TS options.

• If you enable this policy, Royal TS will not allow the user to configure Windows Event Log logging in the Royal TS options.

• If you do not configure this policy setting, Royal TS will allow the user to configure Windows Event Log Logging in the Royal TS options.

 

To set the registry value manually, create a DWORD value with the name "WindowsEventLog" under:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\code4ward\RoyalTS\Logging\
• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Policies\code4ward\RoyalTS\Logging\

 

To enable the policy setting, set the registry value to 1. To disable the policy, set the value to 0 or remove the value.

 

Windows Event Log: Logging Level

This setting requires Royal TS V 2.2.0 or later.

This policy setting allows you to manage the logging level used to log in the Windows Event log.

• If you enable this policy, Royal TS will not allow the user to configure Windows Event Log logging level in the Royal TS options.

• If you do not configure this policy setting, Royal TS will allow the user to configure Windows Event Log logging level in the Royal TS options.

 

This setting requires Royal TS V 2.2.0 or later.

To set the registry value manually, create a DWORD value with the name "LoggingLevelEventLog" under:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\code4ward\RoyalTS\Security\
• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Policies\code4ward\RoyalTS\Security\

 

To configure the policy setting, set the registry value to one of the following values:

0: Activity

1: Information

2: Warning

3: Error

4: Debug

5: Verbose
